​Sunday 18th June - ‎It was a day of mixed fortunes for Orelac Racing VerdNatura riders Nacho Calero and Fahmi Khairuddin at Misano. Nacho continued his improvements and was unlucky not to score any points, while Fahmi suffered another crash after just 4 laps.

Orelac VerdNatura Racing left Jerez happy with the work they had carried out over the two days at the Spanish circuit. The team had worked hard over the winter, so there were lot of new things to try.  Fahmi Khairuddin was the fastest World Supersport rider, with a lap of 1:44.4, eight tenths of a second ahead of the next rider. His team mate, Nacho Calero, was not far behind, with a time of 1:45.5.

Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is not renewing its contract to host the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) Malaysian Round. This follows three consecutive years of hosting the world’s second biggest two-wheel motorsports championship in Sepang – from 2014 to 2016.

Orelac Racing VerdNatura riders Fahmi Khairuddin and Nacho Calero finished 20th and 24th respectively in the seventh round of this year’s World Supersport Championship at Donington Park today. With Fahmi and Nacho starting from the eighth row of the grid, it was always going to be hard for them to get into the points unless everything worked in their favour. As it turned out, they were unable to make much progress in the 20-lap race.

The second day of the 2016 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) Malaysian Round at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) received a good mix of local and international support. WorldSBK and World Supersport (WorldSSP) fans all watched in excitement as their favourite riders took to the track in the qualifying rounds. Riders contending for a win in the WorldSBK class include defending champion Jonathan Rea as well as Nicky Hayden and Chaz Davies, while Malaysian fan favourite Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin is participating in his first ever WorldSSP season.
