IMPROVEMENT FOR NACHO, ANOTHER CRASH FOR FAHMI

  
‎It was a day of mixed fortunes for Orelac Racing VerdNatura riders Nacho Calero and Fahmi Khairuddin at Misano. Nacho continued his improvements and was unlucky not to score any points, while Fahmi suffered another crash after just 4 laps. 
 
NACHO CALERO -16th
"I made a good start and the race itself was not so bad. ‎I had a good fight with a group of riders and was looking forward to getting into the points, but on the last lap I got baulked and was forced wide. 
Fortunately I managed to stay on the bike‎ and kept going to finish the race. I am disappointed not to score any points but I felt I had a good race today."
 
FAHMI KHAIRUDDIN - DNF
"In the first few lap I felt the front was closing in and I nearly highsided a few times. There were many crashes in the race so I thought that if I could just stay on the bike I would get a reasonable finish. Unfortunately I lost the front in the last turn. It was a strange crash but maybe it was because of the high temperature of the track which made it very slippery. "
 
GIULIO BARDI (team manager)
"‎it is always difficult when we start towards the back of the grid because you have to be aggressive if you want to pass. Nacho rode well and even managed a 1m 40s lap in the race. Today our results are not good but I am happy with the team's progress throughout the weekend."
