Malaysia Superbike Championship

PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (PETRONAS SIC) in collaboration with Two Wheels Motor Racing (TWMR) proudly presents the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK), the nation's premier track motorcycle racing event. Established in 2015 through a strategic rebranding initiative, MSBK aims to serve as a platform for motorsports enthusiasts and fans to be a part of the motorsports community, and at the same time for professional riders to redefine their performance towards excellence.
With the commitment to provide a value-added experience to its participants, MSBK now features an expanded calendar with four rounds of highly competitive races. The championship comprises five distinct racing categories, each tailored to different skill levels and competitive aspirations for every racing enthusiast namely MSBK 1000, MSBK 600, MSBK 250, CBR250RR Challenge Cup, and Berjaya Sompo Yamaha Y16ZR Race Master Class.
Inspired by the esteemed FIM World Superbike Championship, MSBK emulates the enhanced race regulations aimed at fostering professionalism while elevating the standards of competition. This has positioned MSBK as a vital platform for nurturing local talents and preparing them for an opportunity on the global front besides providing the motorsports enthusiasts with a real-life racing experience.
Throughout its history, MSBK has been the top option for Malaysia's finest riders, including MotoGP sensation, Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah and former moto3 contender, Adam Norrodin as well as the Asian region championship (Asia Road Racing Championship) star riders including Zaqhwan Zaidi, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman, Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin, Azroy Hakeem Anuar and Helmi Azman in maintaining peak performances and further enhancing their physical capacity. Sepang International Circuit remains dedicated to providing world-class facilities and opportunities for riders.
