SEPANG, 13 July 2016 – Good news for motorsports fans among Maybank card members! Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is participating in this year’s Maybank Treats Fair, taking place at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 21 to 24 July 2016. The Maybank Treats Fair is Malaysia’s largest one-stop instant redemption fair offering tremendous savings for Maybank card members. “This is a special year for motorsports in Malaysia. For the first time, SIC is hosting the world’s two biggest motorsports championships in the same month. The F1 Grand Prix is taking place from 30 September to 2 October 2016 and the MotoGP is happening from 28 to 30 October 2016. It will be a month of non-stop adrenaline rush here in Malaysia for motorsports fans. I urge Maybank card members not to miss out on this excellent opportunity to enjoy exclusive discounts on F1 Grand Prix and MotoGP tickets at the Maybank Treats Fair. There will also be exclusive merchandise on sale as well as games where vistors can win prizes,” said Dato’ Razlan Razali, Chief Executive Officer of Sepang International Circuit.

“Don’t forget to come support our Malaysian participants this year! For the first time, SIC is hosting the GP2 and GP3 series as support races for the F1 Grand Prix. There will be two Malaysians participating - Nabil Jeffri driving for Arden International and Akash Neil Nandy driving for Jenzer Motorsport. In the MotoGP, Adam Noroddin is seeing action with our very own DRIVE M7 SIC Racing Team together with Czech teammate Jakub Kornfeil, while Khairul Idham Pawi is riding for Honda Team Asia, all in Moto3. In Moto2, Hafizh Syahrin is riding for Petronas Raceline Malaysia. Home support means the world to our boys, so come lend your support to them! For Adam and Khairul Idham, as well as Nabil and Akash, this is the first year they are all competing in their respective championships. So help make this a rookie home race to remember for our Malaysian talent,” he added.
