Masila Ya'kubDirector

Masila binti Ya’kub has over 20 years of experience in Malaysian Civil Service. Her career in Civil Service began as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer at the Ministry of Home Affairs back in 2001. After completing her Master of Business Administration from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), she was appointed as the Principal Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Finance. She had also previously served at the Immigration Department of Malaysia before continuing her service at the Ministry of Finance, currently at Remuneration Policy and Management Division. 

Throughout her career as a civil servant, she has contributed to the homeland security of the country and the growth of Malaysian Civil Service. Masila binti Ya’kub managed the structuring of the organization at the departments and agencies under the Ministry of Finance. She was also directly involved in the talent management of the Treasury Transformation Program back in 2013. She also structured the plan and management of Human Resource for all departments and agencies under the Ministry of Finance. On top of that, she improved and streamline the Standard Operating Procedure as to comply with financial processes and streamline work processes related to Management and Human Resource policies. 

Masila binti Ya’kub was appointed as a Board Member of Sepang International Circuit on 2 Mac 2021 as a representative of the Ministry of Finance.
