KUALA LUMPUR, 8 August 2019 – The month of December will witness the inaugural Races of Malaysia where two world championships – the FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) presented by OSCARO season finale and the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) – will debut at Sepang International Circuit from December 14-15, promising a weekend of Motorsports Festival for fans.

Singapore’s Teh Kian Boon and Jonathan Xie ruled Round 3 of the Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) as they outpaced their Malaysian rivals to score a commanding 1-2 in a brutal one-hour steamy endurance race under sweltering temperatures at Sepang International Circuit today.

The Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) enters its third round this weekend at Sepang International Circuit with the national championship series sharing the track and limelight with the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup Asia series, which will run three races including a night race under the floodlights on Saturday.

Twelve-year old Mohamad Hasif Zainal Abidin overcome racing jitters and a wet Sepang International Kart Circuit to win the opening round SIC National Karting Series Rookies Cup 2019, which was held over the weekend as part of the SIC IAME Series Asia event.

Eight-year old Saif Khalifa Erwin will be the youngest among the final 10 karters selected to compete in the SIC X30 National Karting Series Rookies Cup 2019 on a full sponsorship package under SIC Talent Development programme.
