The entire first edition of the 8 Hours of Sepang round of the FIM EWC will be broadcast live on Indonesia’s national channel TVRI on Saturday 14 December.
The 11th edition of the Sepang 1000km Endurance Race 2019 (S1K) from 22 to 24 November 2019 will be an interesting one to all motorsport savvies out there where Malaysia’s biggest name in motorcycle racing, Hafizh Syahrin participates for the first time.

In 2018 HI-REV launched a HI-REV Young Talent Program which saw 20-year old Adam Khalid benefitted from this program competed in the Malaysia Championship Series 2018 and Sepang 1000km 2018 with impressive results. Scoring a double P2 in Round 4 of the MCS and 2nd overall in S1K earned him the opportunity to be selected for the shootout for SIC Talent Development Program; with the winner getting a sponsored seat in TCR Asia. In 2019, Adam was selected ahead of other top racing talents in the shootout to represent SIC in the TCR Asia 2019 series.
50 teams, including 36 full-season 2019-2020 FIM EWC entries (21 in Formula EWC, 15 in Superstock) will be on the track in Malaysia alongside 12 Asian teams seeking to qualify for the 2020 Suzuka 8 Hours.
Farouk Abdul Kathir has been crowned at the 2019 Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) for the Touring Production class; wresting the crown away from Mark Darwin in an exciting final round at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) yesterday.
