Saturday, 29 August 2020 – A great day to be remembered for the R Engineering HMRT team as they claim the throne for the one-off special round - Merdeka Race 2020, Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) Race 1 at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) today. 

Litar Antarabangsa Sepang (SIC) bersama ZK Racing akan menganjurkan edisi sulung Kejohanan SIC MiniGP dengan Pusingan 1 dan menjadi sebahagian daripada MAM SpeedWeek dijadual berlangsung pada hari Ahad ini, 16 Ogos 2020. Kejohanan ini akan berlangsung di Litar Kart Antarabangsa Sepang (SIKC).

PETRONAS Sepang Racing Team will remain under the ownership of Sepang International Circuit after this change, with his incoming replacement, Azhan Shafriman Hanif, having a strong motorsport background, having previously worked at team title sponsor, PETRONAS.

Friday, 13 March 2020 - Based on the recent announcement made by the Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, due to the increasing cases of Corona Virus (COVID-19) in Malaysia and also worldwide, any events involving mass gathering which includes sporting events, international meetings, social and religious events are to be postponed or cancelled according to suitability until 30 April 2020.
