Saturday, 29 August 2020 – A great day to be remembered for the R Engineering HMRT team as they claim the throne for the one-off special round - Merdeka Race 2020, Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) Race 1 at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) today. 

SIC TIE UP WITH MALAYSIA SPEED FESTIVAL (MSF) FOR MERDEKA RACE 2020 FEATURING MALAYSIA CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES (MCS) AND MSF FOR AN EXCITING RACE WEEKEND

The Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) is a national racing series promoted and organised by Sepang International Circuit (SIC) as an initiative to promote and develop 4-wheel racing sports in Malaysia.

KEJOHANAN SIC MINIGP PUSINGAN 1 2020 MELAKAR SATU KEJAYAAN BUAT PROGRAM PEMBANGUNAN AKAR UMBI   

Litar Antarabangsa Sepang (SIC) bersama ZK Racing akan menganjurkan edisi sulung Kejohanan SIC MiniGP dengan Pusingan 1 dan menjadi sebahagian daripada MAM SpeedWeek dijadual berlangsung pada hari Ahad ini, 16 Ogos 2020. Kejohanan ini akan berlangsung di Litar Kart Antarabangsa Sepang (SIKC).  

Friday, 31 July 2020 – Sepang International Circuit (SIC) regret to announce the cancellation of the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2020. This is due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic that has resulted in the decision of the cancellation.

PETRONAS Sepang Racing Team will remain under the ownership of Sepang International Circuit after this change, with his incoming replacement, Azhan Shafriman Hanif, having a strong motorsport background, having previously worked at team title sponsor, PETRONAS.

Azhan Shafriman Hanif takes over on 8 April 2020 as Dato’ Razlan Razali moves to a full-time role at PETRONAS Sepang Racing Team

Friday, 13 March 2020 - Based on the recent announcement made by the Prime Minister, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, due to the increasing cases of Corona Virus (COVID-19) in Malaysia and also worldwide, any events involving mass gathering which includes sporting events, international meetings, social and religious events are to be postponed or cancelled according to suitability until 30 April 2020.

Thursday, 12th March 2020 - Malaysian rider pitches it to perfection to become the second winner of the year, Syarifuddin Azman came out on top in another awesome Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup race at Losail International Circuit in Qatar, the Malaysian winning a five-way battle for victory to take his second win in the series and first of the year. Race 1 winner Kanta Hamada keeps the points lead after he came home in second, just 0.049 off, with the podium completed by Harrison Voight as the Australian made his first visit to the IATC rostrum.
