THE FINAL SHOWDOWN FOR MCS 2021, ROUND 3 & 4

​Saturday, 10 December 2021 – The drivers and respective teams in the Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) 2021 are all set and ready, preparing their racing cars to the top-notch performance for the final doubleheader, Round 3 and 4 scheduled on 15 – 16 December 2021.

MCS 2021 will be the last action from four-wheels racing to conclude the National Championship calendar for 2021.

For Race 1 and 2 in Round 3 (Wednesday), the drivers will be competing for a total of 22 laps. Race 1 starts at 10:30 AM – 11:35 AM while Race 2 at 3:30 PM – 4:35 PM.

The excitement continues in Round 4 (Thursday) from 11:15 AM – 1:45 PM, where their racing skills will be challenged throughout the iconic 5.543km circuit, to complete the 300km race which is equivalent to 54 laps.

Recap from Round 2, Alif Hamdan and Lai Wee Sing from R Engineering HMRT remains unbeaten as they are the only entry in Touring (T) Production category. Leona Chin from Tedco Racing team spearheaded the Malaysian Touring Car (MTC) Production leaving Muhammad Roni Risman and his partner, Shaifulnizam from Dori’s Racing team in second place and the pairing, Natasha Seatter and Nurul Husna from Niza Racing team finished in third place.

Stock Production 1 (SP1), Shazull Hisham and Mohd Syahrizan from the Empire M Racing team finished the race in the first place. Ken Urata from Rworks came in second position and Chiow Teck Song from R Engineering HMRT team in third place.

As for Stock Production 2 (SP2), the perfect combination of Hayden Haikal and Adam Khalid drives the Honda Fit GK5 throughout the 22 laps of the race had earned them the class victory. Putera Adam from R Engineering HMRT finished in the second position while Eddie Lew Kar Wai and William Ho from the Tedco Racing team in third place.

MCS 2021 organised by Sepang International Circuit (SIC), supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), sanctioned by Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM) with Yokohama as the Official Tyre Distributor and BHPetrol as the Official Fuel Partner.

Entrance to MCS 2021 is free at the SIC Main Grandstand for spectators 18 years old and above with fully completed vaccination.
