Monday, 29 November 2021 – Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is delighted to announce the first ever Portable Electric Vehicle (PEV) Open Track Day on Friday, 3 December 2021 from 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM at SIC North Paddock.

This is part of SIC’s effort to provide a safe and secure environment for PEV aficionados to bring along their PEVs – e-scooters, e-bikes, hoverboards, electric unicycles, e-skateboards to enjoy and experience the iconic 5.543km circuit that has hosted multiple local and international motorsports events.

The event is also organised as a recognition to the gaining popularity of PEVs in Malaysia and to promote environmentally friendly and clean mobility, in line with SIC’s initiative to encourage sustainable living in sports and reduce carbon emission. Previously, SIC had successfully organised Cycling Open Track Day to promote this lifestyle to its fans and visitors.

While at SIC, visitors will be able to capture their experience at Insta-worthy areas such the Hibiscus Tower, SIC Feature Wall, Paddock Area, Pitlane, Starting Grid, Pit Stop Café and many more interesting spots.

Entrance to the circuit is charged at a low price of RM62.50 per person (including tax). Participants must be fully vaccinated and free from any Covid-19 symptoms. However, children below 12 years old are not allowed. It is mandatory to wear protective gear such as helmet and fully covered sports shoes, whilst knee pads and elbow guards are optional but encouraged.
