Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2020
The Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2020 returns this 30 October to 1 November 2020, again as the penultimate race in the MotoGP calendar.
For the 22nd edition, race weekend will have more thrills and a list of exciting activities to attract fans this year with SIC expecting over 100,000 spectators on race day. Motorsports fans will witness the Malaysian homegrown, PETRONAS Yamaha Sepang Racing team competing for the second year in the MotoGP class with 2019 Rookie of the Year, Fabio Quartararo and 2018 Rookie of the Year, Franco Morbidelli.
Our local boys, Hafiz Syahrin will fight for the podium in Moto2 with his new team, Angel Nieto while newcomer, Kasma Daniel moves to the new underdog, ONEXOX TKKR SAG. Khairul Idham Pawi makes a comeback for this year with PETRONAS Sprinta Racing Team for the Moto3 Championship.
Year-to-year record-breaking number of spectators marks the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix as an event not to be missed. With the support from the local and international crowd, MotoGP in Malaysia will continue to be the biggest two-wheel event in South East Asia.
