Abdullah HasanDirector

Abdulah bin Hasan is the Deputy Secretary General (Management), Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia (KBS).  He graduated from the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Masters of Art in Strategy and Diplomacy in 2003.  He joined the Malaysian civil service in 1996 as an Administrative and Diplomatic Officer and was posted to the public service Department as an Assistant Director.
 
In 2002, he furthered his studies for the Strategy and Diplomacy Courses at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).  Extensive experience in human resource management and organizational development, international relations management and foreign affairs, social management and infrastructure.  He has held several positions in various Ministries and Departments namely Department of Director General of Land and Mines, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, Negeri Sembilan State Secretary Office, High Commission of Malaysia Office in Wellington, New Zealand, and the Public Service Department.  He is also the Director at the Razak School of Government (RSOG) which is responsible for conducting various training and leadership programs.
 
In 2019, he held the position of Director General, Institute of Leadership Excellence and Development (i-LEAD), KBS which was established with the aim of producing competent youth leaders as the successor to the future leadership.
 
In October 2020, he was promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary General (Management) of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia.
