It was a great day for Malaysians racing at Sepang International Circuit today for the season opener of the Malaysian Super Series. Rounds 1 & 2 were held on a drying track after an early morning downpour that stopped just slightly more than one hour before the first race. Suhadi Ali Rahmat, won Race 2 and claimed a third place in Race 1 of the Supersports.

SEPANG, April 20, 2010: The Sepang International Circuit has embarked on a One-Make Tyre ruling which will be enforced beginning from May 28 this year.

With the new ruling in place, competitors in the upcoming Malaysian Super Series, Sepang 1000K (S1K) and Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race (MMER) 2010 will have to use tires from the manufacturers as stated below:

It is now confirmed that Motorsport Asia Limited (MAL) has been appointed as series organizer of the Malaysian Super Series 2010.

1. Round 1 of both MSS Club and Premier scheduled on 18th April and 1st – 2nd May respectively have been cancelled. The new dates for Round 1 would be on 29th – 30th May. The event will now be combined and known only as Malaysian Super Series. The dates for all rounds would be as follows :
