“It was a good qualifying run and everything was running perfectly,” said Satoshi Motoyama who clocked 1:58:124 in qualifying.

“We are confident on our performance tomorrow if the conditions remain the same but if it rains then we will have to be careful in the race.”

Satoshi and second driver Benoit Treluyer won the last race which is round of the Super GT at the Fuji Speedway, Japan.

In the GT300 team Cars Tokai Dream28 of car number 2 clocks 2:09:983 allowing it to start tomorrow’s race on the 9th spot.

“I just go with the flow and tried my best in the Super Lap session,; said Hiroki Katoh.

“I and my partner (Hiroki Yashimoto) really want to win here in Malaysia and so hopefully we will be on the centre of the podium tomorrow after the race.

33 teams from GT300 and GT500 class3 will be blazing around the circuit for 54 laps on Sunday 21 June.

There will also be supporting races from Formula V6 Asia, GT3 Asia and Aston Martin Cup Asia.

In between races motorsports fans will also be treated with off track entertainment with appearances of the race queens Sana and Nana and the other race queens accompanying the teams.

On top of that, there will also be drift demos, GT look-a-like cars on display and performance by Dragon Red.

Tickets of the Main Grandstand can be purchase at only RM100. SIC is also offering a special family package at RM250 for four Main Grandstand ticket. Free admission for children seven-years-old and below. Passes for Sunday's Pit Walkabout and Circuit Safari are sold at RM100 each, while parking charges for bikes at RM2, cars at RM5 and bus at RM20.
