Boy Wonder Wins – Again

04 October 2009, By Sepang International Circuit

Boy “Wonder” Wong Yew Choong wins the round 4 of the Malaysian Super Series (MSS) at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) over the weekend.

“It was a nice race, the car performed well and thanks to the crew for a good job with the car,” said Boy at the podium ceremony.

He added that the next round will be different as it will be a full track instead of the North track like this round.

“The suspension setup will be the same but we are looking at slightly different gearbox ratios to take advantage of the full circuit.”

With the win, Wong has widen Championship point gap to 37 with 102 points. Kok Pak Chiang lost his second spot in the Championship to Moo Wai Leong with 61 and 65 points respectively.

Kok Pak Chiang’s disappointment was a result of him finishing fifth in race one and even worst in race 2 as he only manage to get tenth place due to car problem.
