Book Ticket In Advance, F1 Fans Told

KUALA LUMPUR, March 4 (Bernama) -- Malaysian die-hard F1 fans are advised to book their tickets early to avoid long queues and disappointment on race day on March 21.
Sepang International Circuit (SIC) senior general manager Datuk Azmi Murad said Malaysians had the tendency of buying their tickets at the last minute and he hoped this attitude would change.
SIC expected 125,000 spectators for the 10th edition race, he told a news conference after the official launch of the 2008 KLIA Transit F1 Transfer Package at KL Sentral here today.
On the F1 Transfer package, Aminuddin said its offered a package at RM80 per head for the race day and RM120 per head for the three-day package.
"The fare includes a two-way high-speed train ride on KLIA Transit playing between KL Sentral and the KL International Airport (KLIA) and two-way bus shuttle between KLIA and SIC," he added.
Aminuddin said the package could be purchased at all ERL stations except Salak Tinggi.
Malaysian will be hosting the second round of the Formula 1 world championship on March 21-23, a week after the opening season in Australia.
