AutoMoto TV Joins AFOS Broadcaster Line Up

AutoMoto TV is the latest channel to sign up with Motorsport Asia to broadcast the Asian Festival Of Speed event to their television audience.



The Broadcast Agreement between Motorsport Asia and Engine Media & Marketing Company, means that AutoMoto TV has aquired the rights to air all 39 of the AFOS programmes planned for 2009.

AutoMoto TV is one of the largest Egyptian automotive free-to-air Satellite channels channel with an Arab identity that covers a variety of motorsport related events, including aircraft, motorcycles and boats. The channel has a viewership reach of up to 15million households.

“ The signing of this agreement with AutoMoto TV gives us a greater reach in the Middle East and North Africa, and will enable many more people to watch our races in these important and growing markets.” Said Motorsport Asia CEO David Sonenscher.

“Our programs are currently watched by over 230 million viewers in over 70 countries around the world and this partnership will further our goal of bringing the best of Asian motorsport to a wider and wider audience around the Globe” he added.

AutoMoto TV is available in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Cyprus.

The Asian Festival of Speed is recognised regionally and internationally as the premier Asian motorsport event. AFOS comprises of the FIA-Sanctioned Formula V6 Asia, Asian Touring Car Series, Asian Touring Car-Max, GT3 Asia, Formula BMW Pacific and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
