AIRASIA-SIC-Ajo’s, Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin wrapped up his pre-season preparations in style when he ended the final tests in Jerez in fifth place, before heading to Qatar for the opening race of the Moto3 season early next month.
THE sky’s the limit for Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin as the 20 year old Air Asia-SIC-Ajo rider maintained his place in the time sheets, with his time of 1’48.562 on Monday, the fifth fastest best time in the combined two days sessions of Moto3 testing at Jerez, Spain yesterday.
Boosted by the recent sponsorship from the Ministry of Youth & Sports (KBS), the investment in Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin’s career in Moto3 is already paying dividends as Malaysia’s rising star in the motorcycling world championships secured a top 10 placing on the opening day of the final tests in Jerez, Spain on Monday.
IF pre-season tests are an indication, Malaysia’s riding sensation, Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin will not be short of confidence for the upcoming season after recording impressive top 10 best lap times during the recent Moto3 test results in Jerez and Valencia last month.
WORLD Champion, Casey Stoner shrugged off Honda’s engine worries as he stormed to the top of time sheets to end the final day of MotoGP pre-season tests at the Sepang International Circuit today.
