Orelac Racing VerdNatura rider Fahmi Khairuddin had his best Superpole result of the season, finishing fifth – less than one tenth of a second off the front row. At one stage of Superpole 2, Fahmi actually led the proceedings before dropping to third spot as the clock wound down. In the final lap, two riders managed to go fractionally faster, so Fahmi will start his home round tomorrow from the second row of the grid. His team mate Nacho Calero continued to improve his lap times, taking nearly three seconds off his time yesterday. In the end, he finished 19th and will start tomorrow’s race from the seventh row.
