The race has been a pride for the nation since it was first held in 1999, helping to cement Malaysia’s reputation as a venue for top international sporting events and tourism destination. To encourage more fans to seize the opportunity to watch the race live, Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is offering F1 Malaysia Grand Prix tickets at an unprecedented ticket prices from now until the race from 29 September to 1 October 2017.

SEPANG, 3 October 2016 – The ever-popular 2016 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix concluded on a high yesterday, as fans at the circuit and around the world got to witness an adrenaline-pumping race with the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS and Red Bull Racing teams battling it out at the circuit in Sepang. Fans also enjoyed a range of activities for all ages organised by Sepang International Circuit (SIC) in line with their Experience Redef1ned theme and took the opportunity to shop for attractive merchandise. The weekend concluded with fans enjoying the After-Race Concert headlined by Usher. Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak was among the tens of thousands of fans at the circuit on Sunday.

SEPANG, 3 October 2016 – The home grand prix for Malaysia’s GP2 and GP3 series heroes has provided little cheer for local fans as both Nabil Jeffri and Akash Neil Nandy concluded their second race yesterday at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) with minimal impact at the 2016 Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix.

SEPANG, 1 October 2016 – Italian Antonio Giovinazzi of PREMA Racing knocked off teammate Pierre Gasly from the top the 2016 GP2 Series championship table after winning the opening race at Sepang International Circuit (SIC) on Saturday, in a race which also saw local hero Nabil Jeffri struggling to finish in 18th position.
